“HE DID THIS FOR YOU”
LIFE OF JESUS
In spring 200l, I attended a retreat at a local church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At the conclusion of this retreat, I committed to serving God with the gifts He had given me. God sent me the inspiration to create a series of spiritual ink drawings in a couple of months.
My heart was burning to share my love for Christ. I had depicted Christ-like figures in the world previously. Then the ultimate inspiration to draw Christ kept stirring my heart. The images of this drawing came together quickly, as God led my hand.
In this drawing, the life, death, and resurrection are depicted through a series of portraits of Christ. The faces of Jesus express great sorrow, reminding us of the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us so we could have eternal life. The arms of Christ point up to heaven in the drawing. Jesus is the Promised Savior, the Son of God. And through our faith in Him we may meet Him in Heaven some day
The gift of eternal life is given to those who believe that Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
